Dr. Vincent Basilice is a highly experienced ophthalmic physician, surgeon, and entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in private practice. He specializes in cataract surgery and laser vision correction, including LASIK, providing expert eye care at �鶹����locations in East Setauket and Wading River, New York. Dr. Basilice serves patients across Long Island’s North Shore and Suffolk County with a longstanding commitment to restoring and preserving vision.

Dr. Basilice is a well-respected ophthalmic surgeon known for his expertise in modern cataract surgery and refractive procedures, helping patients achieve clearer vision and improved quality of life. His decades of experience allow him to deliver personalized care, combining surgical precision with a deep understanding of each patient’s unique needs.

Dr. Basilice received his Doctor of Medicine from St. Louis University in 1975. After completing a year of training in Internal Medicine, he went on to specialize in Ophthalmology, where he was selected as Chief Resident of his program. He completed his undergraduate studies at St. John’s University.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Basilice is the Medical Director of a successful ophthalmology practice in New York, TOC Eye. Throughout his career, he has remained deeply committed to serving his local community and has been an active member of the medical staff at Mather Hospital and St. Charles Hospital for many years.

Dr. Basilice’s dedication to patient care and community service has been widely recognized. In 2015, he was honored by the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council with the Theodore Roosevelt Award, and in the same year, he was named Humanitarian of the Year for his contributions to both medicine and the community.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Basilice is married to his wife, Dahna. They reside in St. James, Greenport, and North Palm Beach, Florida. Together, they dedicate significant time and resources to charitable initiatives and animal philanthropy, reflecting a shared passion for giving back.

Practicing in East Setauket and Wading River, Dr. Basilice provides expert cataract and LASIK care to patients throughout Long Island’s North Shore and surrounding communities.
