We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspiring Assistant Director of Music to assist and support the Director of Music in the running of the Music Department at SPJ. The successful candidate will be required to maintain the extremely high standards of the department, ensuring the best possible provision, opportunities and educational experience for boys of all abilities and ages at SPJ. This would suit someone who is not only an accomplished musician in their own right, but who is committed to developing a love for music amongst bright and talented pupils.

Salary: Competitive plus benefits.

Commencing January 2025

A space has become available for a Visiting Music Teacher (Singing) to use the facilities at St Paul’s Juniors (SPJ).

Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) are self-employed and the contract for provision of lessons is between parents and the VMT. VMT Service Agreements and arrangements for instrumental lessons are managed by the Music School Manager (MSM) who acts as an agent in making the contractual arrangements with parents.

Commencing March 2025

We are seeking to appoint a pool of Exam Invigilators to be engaged on a casual basis with the School. The Exam Invigilators will be required to assist the Exams department by ensuring exams are conducted in an appropriate manner within a correct time frame by supervising students and ensuring exam regulations are being met at all times.

The successful candidates will be employed on a casual contract and paid for the hours worked on a monthly basis, and must be available to work at least 25 days from May 2025 to June 2025.

We will be interviewing for this role in 2 cohorts:

Commencing January 2025

St Paul’s School has an opportunity for an aspiring Accounts Assistant to join a busy and friendly Finance team. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for various financial accounting and administration tasks including reconciliations, bursaries, reviewing purchase invoices, and annual budget and year-end accounts and audit processes.

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week.
